Pictures are misleading. Quantity is very small, double check the description. The thickness of material was also smaller than expecting. If you're looking for something fine grain this a great product. Just not what I needed. Also a little pricy for what you get.

Don’t go by the picture. The quantity is not enough just a handful or less. It comes compressed so even worse.

I got 4 patches out of what I ordered! The block is very dense. And my finch worked magic with it. It looks like there is silk in her nest. The male busily brought up material and the female set up house. I enjoyed watching the process so much!

Birds can get tangled in this horrible nesting material, I had to cut it down. Light weight constantly falling out of nests.

The product itself is fine and as expected, but I was SHOCKED when I opened the package to see how little I was getting for the price I paid. I regret spending the money -- should have waited to visit a craft store.

I ordered this for my 3 finches. The quality is great! The amount give for the price is also great!The only issue I had with it is that the individual strands were really, really long. One of my finches got his feet tangled up in it and it was traumatic for us both as I had to rescue him! Lesson learned, take the time to cut the strands into shorter lengths (4 inches worked well). The product is wonderful and the birds love it for their nests. These tiny guys just need shorter strands is all.
