The concept is good but the quality of the product is poor. The grease funnel snapped off at the collar where the hose attaches. It lasted until it needed to be emptied and then snapped right off. I do not recommend.

I didn’t even get to cook with this thing installed. Put it on for seasoning and five minutes into it the hose broke off at the collar. The bottom metal part of the funnel sheered right off.

It says it does, but it really doesn't. You can't open the lid all of the way. I also tried cutting the hose as it's way too long to use without it kinking. Cannot use this with the lid. Waste of money.

This product works great for our Boy Scout trips where we have a lot of cooking to do as it allows for extra grease storage and keeps it from getting all over the place or having to deal with hot grease!

I was tired of rain water getting into the original grease catch and spilling on my patio. So I got this for my Blackstone. Makes a huge difference. However I did use some RTV high temp on the seam where the to pieces of metal come together on it. That way no way water can drip down into the system. So now if I forget to put the cover back on over the Griddles lid no worries if it rains. A most for open patios. Covers get old and still let water to pass through. And then yes you have grease pit on your nice patio.

Cleaning the grill had been easier for me now. Having this product and I added a bucket /w a lid; cut a hole in its lid. Now, I don’t have to work with clean the grease trap after every use!

Works great the only issue I have is that the food catcher didn’t come with mine I didn’t want to return the whole thing just because of that.
