Works but no tab to connect wire from start switch on Kohler engine. Needed to make adapter. It would have cost virtually nothing to include an adapter.

I replaced my old starter on my Exmark mower and I can really tell a difference. This starter seems to turn the motor over faster and decrease the time to start the mower.

Works well on my Cub Cadet garden tractor, but the missing tab connecting to the engine was a hassle. Wouldn't have been very costly to include one by default. I just squeezed the cable between the two nuts. Might come off, but then I'll get a new tab. Couldn't use my old starter tab, it was soldered on the old starter.

I recently got this replacement starter for my uncle's 14 year old Steiner tractor and the results have been all good thus far. Was missing the tab piece that was shown in the picture but my husband made it work with using the tab piece from the old starter!
