Bought this for the good grip offered by its advertised 5 inch span. What showed up is a little over 3 inches wide, no better than what it was meant to replace.

Straightforward install (pull out cord, attach clamp to cord so you don't lose it, undo knot, insert cord into new handle, tie knot, remove clamp).Handle is stout and I'm not worried about it breaking. I wasn't really worried about the last one until it broke, so... But this one seeks more solid, so here's hoping. If anyone can break it, it will be my son.If things go south, I'll let you know.

Handles are a nice size. Made out of a very hard plastic so not sure how brittle and how long they will last. I replace pull cords and handles for a local masonry contractor on his concrete saws so get abused. Time will tell.

I can't make it work on my edger. No matter how big I tie the knot at the end, it slips through. I guess the rubber is too soft. I had to switch back to the broken original.
