The lower unit does not chill below 62 degrees. Contacted the company and customer service was useless. Thru simply read from a script in failing to find a fix. Save your money and save your wine from being warm.

Fridge is super quiet and looks beautiful. The temperature gauge on our first one went bad after a few months, so we submitted a warranty claim. The process was relatively easy. We didn’t have to ship it back, just cut the cord and dispose of it. Only negative was we had to pay the shipping for the replacement, and it was nearly half the cost of what we paid for the fridge (got it for ~$200). Still cheaper than buying another one, and the fridge itself is great so we figured it was worth it.

This wine fridge has worked perfectly in the couple of months I have had it.Had to return a compressor model that never held the temperature correctly.Pick this one to replace it and am very happy with it. Totally silent, and dual zone. And it holds both regular wine bottles and sparkling wine bottles. The other model wouldn't takethe sparkling wine bottles well at all and lost space to try to move a shelf. So beware of that aspect when choosing a wine fridge. Usually the reviews will tell you.I recommend this one so far.

Purchased to fit in the kitchen/dining area and match existing furniture and appliances. This unit works great and looks better than I had hoped.

I purchased a new unit in Dec 2023, the display failed 11 months later. I contacted Newair support and they offered to send a replacement unit but I had to pay the shipping cost of almost $70. I negotiated this down and they sent a replacement after making me cut the cord on the defective unit before they would ship. This left me with no wine refrigeration while waiting for the new unit. The replacement arrived however the display was frozen and I could not set the temperatures or turn on the light. I reported this and they promptly sent another replacement for no shipping charge, but this unit also had a defective control panel. After reading a few of the recent reviews I see that there is an apparent manufacturing problem with this unit. I would not recommend purchase of this item as the vendor should have known there was an issue when I spoke with them and not sent replacements knowing they were defective as well.

This is not a product I can recommend.I have previously used two small wine coolers of a similar size to this product, as well as two large wine coolers that can hold about 100 bottles. This year, due to work circumstances, I moved to the U.S., so I needed a small wine cooler and decided to purchase this product.Initially, the product worked very well. However, it broke down just four months after I started using it. While the temperature display of the upper compartment, which I had set to 15°C, showed a range of 30 to 35°C, the actual temperature in the compartment dropped to 5°C. I assume that the sensor responsible for detecting the temperature in the upper compartment had malfunctioned. This happened despite the fact that the product was installed and used appropriately. This is the first time I have had such an experience in all the years I've used various wine coolers. Given that this seemed to be an manifacturing defect, I contacted Newair's customer support.Their response was polite and relatively quick, but overall, it wasn't satisfactory. I requested a refund, but Newair's warranty policy did not allow for refunds. Instead, they offered to send me a new unit of the same product if I paid an additional shipping cost of $47.23.I wasn't fully convinced by their policy of making me bear the shipping cost for what was likely manifacturing defect, but after some deliberation, I decided to have them send a new unit. When I informed them of my decision, Newair further requested that I cut the power cord of the current wine cooler with scissors and send them a photo as proof before they could send the new unit. I assume this is to prevent fraudulent exchanges, but in my case, the lower compartment was still functioning normally and was being used to store wine.I asked if I could send the photo after receiving the new unit since cutting the cord would leave me with nowhere to store the wine bottles in the lower compartment. However, they said this was not acceptable. I don’t think this is a very empathetic response to a wine lover. Moreover, I am not satisfied with their lack of intent to properly investigate the malfunction. Once I cut the cord, I am expected to dispose of the faulty wine cooler myself. There will be no investigation into the cause of the failure. In conclusion, Newair provided the bare minimum response to a malfunction that was likely caused by an initial defect. Throughout the process, I did not observe any empathy for wine lovers or any effort to investigate the cause of the defect.Should the replacement unit break down again, I intend to update this review accordingly.

I do like the sleekness of it, but setting the temperature for the two sections was a bit annoying. The second level eventually flashed when I pressed the button, but it took a while for the first section to change, so your not fully aware of which one is being selected at first. The temperatures were different at the beginning, but now they both read the same. The separator is not doing its job very well lol. All in all, not a bad little fridge, but may invest in a bigger one later on.

Arrived promptly and very well packaged- flawless. Good capacity for storing a small collection of 'the good stuff'. Handsome in a minimalist modern sort of way. Front is black but sort of reflective too. Unobtrusive- the temp lights stay on but not bad. It is indeed very quiet. Checked temps with my Thermapro- a couple of degrees off so I adjusted the settings accordingly. Not silent but sitting 15' away I can't hear it. Nice job Newair!
