Worked super well for one night. Was able to do some iron-on designs on a pair of jeans. Tried to fire it up to use it the next day for a shirt and it would no longer turn on. Total waste, utter garbage.

I wanted to love this iron so bad! We have a camper and I thought this would be so nice to have to keep in there. When it arrived I immediately tried it out and the first thing I noticed was that it just didn’t get very hot. I added water to the steamer and tried again and no matter what u did it just wasn’t hot enough to get out the wrinkles like I needed. It worked ok and did make the clothes look a little better but honestly I can iron clothes with my hair straightener better than I can with this. I hate saying that because I hate leaving negative reviews but this just wasn’t it.

I have a few garments that actually have to be ironed. And I travel and camp extensively. This was my solution, I'm using this to help press my robes. I take vows as a householding Buddhist none soon, and keeping up my robes as part of the job. This is a very small handheld iron, and while it is difficult to do larger items it is possible. But I do believe this would be a better fit for someone looking to press the collar and cuffs on a professional shirt or to straighten a tie for a meeting. This is perfect for the business and work travel of all kinds. This is not a sizable household iron to maintain an entire wardrobe, well not easily. But it will fit into a suitcase, comes with a small carrying bag, and even comes with the silicone resting mat. Putting your items down on a bed or on top of a towel or something that can take the heat and you should be ready to go.

Most clothes I have are wash and go. A few outfits have to have ironing. The particular outfit I chose has vertical wrinkles due to the fabric design. It had developed horizontal wrinkles. The Newbealer steam iron fits in the palm well. One can select dry ironing with a few settings or steam ironing. The ironing has to be in the horizontal position. Did dry iron the outfit, but it only partially decreased the horizontal wrinkles. The outfit's material made that problematic due to its flexibility. Filled the hole with water and steam ironed, and the horizontal wrinkles were gone. Material has a smoother look as well but retains the vertical wrinkle design. Did not see the steam cloud pour out of the iron, but did feel it. The steam iron is lightweight and has an intriguing design on its bottom plate. Gripping by the thick handle gave much more control than a regular iron handle. The silicone pad is a good feature, so setting down the steam iron has a place defined. Its small size lets a person get around sleeves, armpit area, and in-between design features. The steam iron can go back into the gray sack when done.

My son has been traveling for work and is not the best packer. This travel iron has saved the day a few times since it is small and packs nicely in his bag. Upon arrival, he steams everything quickly for a smooth look at all of his meetings. It is easy to use, comes with 3 settings and dual voltage just in case.
