These are no longer available through the Ford dealer. I was worried about it not fitting works perfect. Easy to replace as long as you’re careful.

The price was not only cheaper than the junkyard but it is in my opinion better than OEM because it doesn't have the junk label FoMoCo. Even if it fails 6 mo later I personally don't adjust my mirrors enough that I'd even notice or care becauseit's cheap and easy to replace. I only found out after replacing my Ford failure mirrors that their switch failed and in removing the panel noticed my lock switch failed as well. Which if you need one but can't find it here Walmart does carry them.

My daughter bought a 2006 Ford Explorer 4.0 V6 4x4 Eddie Bauer Edition. The power mirror knob was missing and I figured I could find a replacement here on Amazon and I was right. The wire harness was intact and this knob connected find and was easy to install as it snaps into place. Both driver side and passenger side mirrors adjusted as expected. I couldn't tell if the heated mirror featured worked or not as I live in AZ and it was 110 outside when I switched it out lol, but it clicked when you pushed it straight in like a button so I'm assuming that's what turns on and off the heating feature. It looks like the OEM at a fraction of the cost. I highly recommend.

The mirror control switch/module had been out for a while. I decided to take care of if it and found the replacement here. If I’m pressed to get things done quickly I go local to autozone or o’rileys. When I’m not pressed for time I’ll get pars from rock auto. Since I had the time and saw the lady on Amazon for so little I decided to give it a go. The part came quickly, was correct, and works great. Couldn’t be happier.
