Mazda 2008 B4000 similar to other reviews, wires not numbered, averaged about an inch longer than stock wires, came with dielectric grease for boots, fit well in space provided and truck is running fine/better.

Installed these wires into a 2002 Sport Trac about 9 months ago and have had no issues. I've always trusted NGK for all my spark plugs...and now I do with their wires. Very nice bright coloring. So far these wires work just fine. I put them in at the same time as a set of NGK Iridium plugs on my new (to me) 06 Ford Ranger. Luckily for me I don't go and just yank the old wires off and go by the numbers on the new ones and I use a little sense and still change them one at a time which brings me to the reason I only gave 4 stars... Someone at NGK must think that my 4.0 v6 has six #5 cylinders. I went to grab a wire, oh, that's #5, so I grabbed another... oh, that's #5, what the... The whole box, all six wires, were marked as cylinder #5, so while I can say that these are indeed nice wires and feel like good quality wires I can't suggest you buy them for their cylinder identification feature. The aren't the exact length of the stock Motorcrafts that they were replacing, but at least they were all consistently a couple inches longer than stock so there were no issues with short wires, and given how they do have a quality feel to them I don't expect I to have any issues with them in the coming years and feel that they will provide me with good, reliable service.

This seems like a high quality wire set, but the claim of individual cylinder lead ID wasn't accurate for this wire set. All wires were marked as '3', so I had to manually match the lengths with the old wires to find the correct wire length for each cylinder, then mark them with a sharpie. Fortunately the old OEM set was individually marked, so it wasn't too difficult to match the lengths. Five of the wires were of the correct length, except for cylinder 3, which was 2-3 inches longer than the OEM wire. Other than that I didn't have any other problems, and would still recommend them a high quality replacement wire set.After one week of daily driving: I am absolutely amazed at the difference this spark plug wire set has made in the drive-ability of my 2008 Ford Ranger XLT, 4.0 L V6, with 60K miles. I bought this wire set because I had torn the boot at the spark plug end of #1 cylinder while I was replacing the sparkplugs. Under certain conditions of load the spark was jumping through the tear, causing a complete miss-fire on that cylinder. I considered just replacing that one wire, since all the other wires looked good, but I finally decided to replace the whole set with these NGK wires. Although the factory wires appeared to be excellent condition, these wires made a huge improvement in the smoothness of both start and idle, and the truck feels a whole lot smoother running at speed too. Maybe it's just my imagination, but it also seems a lot more responsive to throttle. I have been doing my own mechanical work since my teen years (50+ years) and I have nave never had such a dramatic improvement from just changing spark plug wires. Evidently a whole lot of spark energy was being lost from the factory installed Motorcraft wires. I don't know if they were always that way, or if the degradation over time was so gradule that I didn't notice. Either way I'm so glad I installed these wires!

I got this set of cables for my explorer, I have a small honda and NGK Is all I use on it the car has 189K+ Miles on it but it still holds its ground against most sports cars on the express which is where it counts. When I Found out that this cable set fit my explorer I jumped on them and could not wait to install them which is where I have the only complain for this set.The cables are a really tight fit to the point where I could not use the cable clips on the engine to secure them because if I did the cables could not reach cylinders 3,6,2,5 and the cables for cylinders 1,4 are really longto fix this I had to place heat shield around them because without the engine clips they are in close contact to the engineso if you have this same year explorer make sure you have the heat shieldOtherwise these cable work great my explorer accelerates without any hesitation and the MPG has improved as well could not be happier with my purchase
