This plug did the trick for my XR650L. The plug it replaced was old and tired, and this shiny little gem really perked up my piston. Hard starts are a thing of the past. Installation was simple with the XR650L toolkit. Although, I struggled a bit due to the design. I didn't want to take the gas tank off... so I stuck the end of the spark plug into a 5 inch section of rubber hose, and used that to feed the plug into the absurdly deep and hard to reach cavity where the plug lives. Did the trick! The plug does what it's supposed to do.
