NGK makes great products and this is no exception. Yamaha spec is .024-.028. but I noticed my Kodiak 400 running rough and checked the spark out of the engine. Admit I'm an old fart and been working on and riding m/c for over 50 years, and it looked wrong to my old eyes. Opened it up to .032 and engine smoothed out and ran better. May just be mine or because it's older (like me) but that one cylinder needed a little help, and yes the air cleaner was new also, so not dirty or plugged.
