First and foremost I didn't bought the sensor at Amazon. I bought it at my local auto shop and it's the same part. This is a great quality sensor! After the new sensor was installed, it got my '01 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0 L 6-cylinder up and running again starts up every single time. If you are struggling to find the OEM part the NGK/NTK brand will not disappoint. I highly recommend it!

My dad has an 04 WJ and it was randomly stalling while driving. I tried replacing the ignition switch first but the same issues occurred. This was next on my list and thankfully it solved the problem. I know a lot of people recommend only the mopar CPS sensor, but NGK is a good company that makes sensors for other car manufacturers and I'm pretty sure that mopar doesn't even make the CPS sensor anymore. I wouldn't think twice about choosing NGK.

"Installed. So far so good, but didn't drive very far yet. 2001 grand Cherokee 4.0 .The connector plug at first I thought would not fit. It would not go in. But I inspected it and looked like it should fit.,kept trying, and it finally went in. It was very tight ,at first I thought it was the wrong plug, also make sure you lift the female connector locking tab clip (on car)out-of-the-way.

This item was half of what advanced auto was asking.I got a notice on the day it was supposed to arrive that said it was delayed and would take another week. After alot of pitching and complaining the part arrived the next day.The part looked good and well made however the connector was not a match.I was eager to get up and running so I opted to cut the connector off and used solder seal butt connectors to splice it together.Jeep fired on first try and is running flawlessly after about 100 miles.I will update if any problems arise

after purchasing a cheap crankshaft position sensor for my 02 jeep grand cherokee 4.0 (which failed in under 12 hours), i tried the ntk brand sensor(ntk comes with a three year warranty). the sensor works perfectly, fits really and even the connector worked flawlessly. it's worth every penny of it's price.
