2002 400ex: went on no problems but I have a skid plate which had to be notched to clear so, this kit is now the lowest point on the quad but for dirt roads and trails it's not a big deal.

Definitely lowers the quad. Be ready to fabricate. Bushing didn’t even fit the sleeve.
