Every version of the KLR650 has forks that are insufficient for the loads they are subjected to. This has probably only gotten worse as each generation of the KLR has gotten heavier and heavier. My 2023 KLR650 had a really nasty tendency for the front wheel to deflect all over the place when traversing soft, heavy soil......as in deep sand. I live in FLorida. We have an abundance of deep sand here. This fork brace helped a great deal with that issue. And not only that, it made a noticeable improvement in the precision of the front wheels tracking on all surfaces. A fork brace is a must have on a KLR, and this one does the job quite well at a budget friendly price point!

At first I thought I had made a mistake and that this brace would not fit. You must pull up the rubber boot. Beneath the boot is a small ridge just bellow the stanchion and seal. This brace rests on this ridge and the boot then goes over the top of the brace. If you flip the brace upside down you will see how it mates up. I haven't taken a ride with it yet but, I wanted to write a review because, I was about to start the return process before I figured out how this actually installed. I noticed a few people have had an issue and say it does not fit. It does. Build quality is quite nice. I have several of their products on my klr and I am pleased with all of them.

The brace appears well made, but does not come close to fitting a 2022 KLR650!

Great fit on my 2022 Klr650. Can feel the difference in front fork stability. Good product. Great price. Would recommend.
