2. We recommend using a thread-locking agent on all bolt threads.

- The Stout Mount is a universal GPS mount that provides a highly adjustable, convenient and super tough mount for any device with the AMPS bolt pattern. For many applications we recommend using it with the Garmin Rugged Cradle GPS Mount.
- The AMPS hole pattern is an industry standard hole configuration. It consists of four (4) holes located in a rectangular pattern spaced at 1.181″ by 1.496″ (30mm by 38mm). I recently acquired the NICECNC Orange Top Bar Clamp Handlebar GPS Mount for my motorcycle, and it's proven to be a reliable accessory, albeit with a minor modification required for my specific setup.First and foremost, the build quality and overall design of this GPS mount are commendable. The vibrant orange color not only adds a dash of style but also ensures visibility, which is essential for GPS navigation on the road or trail.The clamp mechanism is robust and securely holds my GPS device in place, even during bumpy rides. It provides peace of mind knowing that my expensive gadget is safe and won't budge.However, I did encounter a minor issue during installation. The mount's default height was slightly lower than what I needed to clear the screws on my handlebars. Fortunately, the modification required was straightforward. I had to raise the mount by 3.75mm to ensure a perfect fit without any interference. While this adjustment was a minor inconvenience, it's worth mentioning for potential buyers who may encounter a similar situation.Once modified, the NICECNC GPS mount performed flawlessly. It securely holds my GPS device within easy reach, making navigation on my motorcycle a breeze. I'm using it to hold a Trail Tech Voyager on my 2023 KTM 500 EXC-F. It did not interfere with my Precision Racing Parabolic Steering Stabilizer. The holes matched the mounted equipment and handlebars. I modified the mounting solution with two SS washers instead of the provided spacers and used some longer M5 bolts with locking nuts for the Voyager. Great price and functionality.

I’m a serious off-road rider. Components I use must be able to stand up to the harshest treatment. I purchased this mount to install a gps on my KTM. No matter how hard I hit, this mount never moved. One such example was when I hit a rock at high speed and literally sheared a GoPro from its two part mount, this unit didn’t move at all. It fit my KTM 505 triple clamps without modification. I installed using a torque wrench set to the proper torque, self locking hardware (aviation grade fasteners) and torque stripe. Would I buy again? A pro off-road racer friend of mine loved it. I bought one for him. Yes, I’d buy again. It’s legit CNC fabricated components.
