Notting Camera properly on an offer extremely hard due to the way it’s built.Having to use a professional screwdriver to get in around housing makes it difficult.Also, the extension out the front and back make it extremely difficult to mount manual or motorized focussing

Swapped out a chunky rail plate for this one and definitely noticed the different. It feels solid, is super light, and is an amazing addition to my Z CAM rig.

I really like the dual front to back support brackets. Helps support the rods and rig you have from the rear with battery plates and to the front with all things lens, stabilization, and control related. The build feels so solid and there's no play or bending. This thing is built to last and that's great. The biggest problem here is the actual setup of the baseplate where you attach your camera and the missed opportunity for a removable baseplate to easily attach your camera. You have to deal with navigating and negotiating with the odd design of the baseplate's bottom. So right off the bat, this isn't something that's going to be a universal solution for any camera, it's going to be for certain types. That instantly makes this universal plate for DSLRs and mirrorless cameras kind of not worth it as there are other plates that truly offer a universal, use as you grow, build system. This at best is mid and at worst avoidable. Great quality, but honestly, you can skip it. If you're desperate for a baseplate, even still, there are much better options on the market for the same or around the same price with much better thought, design, and execution.

I needed to raise my camera up a smidge. This base plate worker out perfectly. I would buy it again. If you need a cheap easy to install base plate get this one.

Was building out my cinema rig and needed this. This was the cheapest option and when you’re building a cinema rig, it gets expensive fast. So I appreciate the quality and the price.
