Could I have ordered a new tilting monitor mount that has a nato rail on the bottom? Sure, for quite a few dollars. This clamped on to my cage's nato rail and adds back a cold shoe, which I already have a tilting monitor mount for. Boom, versatility.This is a very no-frills piece. Tightening screw for nato rail works great. Cold shoe is the right dimensions. That's all there is to it.I enjoy that unlike some other companies, this isn't excessively large or bulky. It is, after all, a very simple connection.Thankful!

The NATO clamp is very flimsy and the cold shoe mount is not secure at all. The whole thing feels very cheaply made and it's not even that inexpensive. Save your money and don't buy this junk.
