What is a Drive Sprocket?
- Sprockets are rotating parts with teeth that are used in conjunction with a chain to transmit power
- In order for sprockets and chain to be compatible with each other they must both have the same thickness and pitch.
- In order for the sprockets and chain to work effectively, all of the sprockets should be on parallel shafts with their corresponding teeth on the same plane.
Parts of a Sprocket
- Number of Teeth - The total number of teeth (projections) around the whole circumference of a sprocket
- Pitch Diameter (PD) - An imaginary circle which is traced by the center of the chain pins when the sprocket rotates while meshed with a chain
- Pitch - The amount of pitch diameter in inches per tooth. Gears with a larger pitch will have bigger teeth
When to Replace?
- Check how well the chain meshes with the sprocket teeth. In a healthy chain and sprocket combo, the individual chain rollers align perfectly with the spaces between the sprocket teeth and fit down into those U-shaped grooves evenly
- Look closely at the sprocket teeth to see if they have become sharp at the tips and/or slightly curled. The teeth on a new sprocket are straight and have a flat or domed shape at the tip, If the teeth are sharp, the sprocket is worn

Everything was correct to Pacific CB 300rf is my only source of distraction in the middle of a pandemic category 4 Category 3 ice storm a freeze that destroyed all of the plumbing except for the water pump itself and to top it all off 3 weeks before the first category 4 hurricane my dad passed away I never once evacuated I live in Louisiana Lake Charles to be perfect you can look on any of the past severe storms and you'll see that I have been impacted directly multiple times in 6 weeks between both her hurricanes then the ice storm with a dash of pandemic through all of this so I can say that this product is a good product so far but I could only do three stars because the rear sprocket could not fit maybe there is a support peace that I could buy but the diameter of the part where you screw to the rear sprocket to the Rim is too small so I was unable to put the brand new rear sprocket on but my original sprocket was not really that bad so I just cleaned it up and put it back on Wiz new chain new front sprocket seen a nice Improvement in handling throttle an all-around fill just wish the rear sprocket with a fit put this on at least 24 hours ago to be precise drove it yesterday and was very happy with the results I have not even had time to contact seller to let him know about rear sprocket but as I'm going through my emails I'm seeing a request for feedback of product so I figured I might as well since I have two seconds PS dad leaving left Mom with pretty much nothing he was the one that took care of all bills and she was the one that was that we all thought would pass first but he did and I was the one to support him and his time of need and now I'm supporting my disabled mother the how's that I never left I am doing a hundred percent of all repairs to it so I literally will work for 48 hours with one meal maybe two and have no job because I have no time for a job I have no family because they are all evacuated the house was mildewed with mold I was not able to ever evacuate because of no money and no Financial stability from federal or state all my funds went to my dad and supporting my daughter and mother while they're evacuated so I put my life online

Extremely not happy with this product, could have killed me, the rear sprocket was completely ruined after 2000km chain didn’t last much longer everything was to put on to standard I was a refund
