I purchased this boot set on April 9th 2024 to replace the passenger-side axle boot on my 2005 Polaris Ranger 700 XP 4x4. The original boot had been torn by driving over a thorn bush. I liked this boot kit at the time because it was fairly easy and straightforward to install, and it fits pretty well. I jacked up the vehicle today (February 17th, 2025) to install my snow plow, and noticed the boot is completely rotten and cracked and falling apart. (That's only 10 months of service, and I don't know how long ago the boot actually failed)The 20-year-old boots on the driver's side are still intact, just to put things in perspective.If your ATV is a garage-decoration, these will probably work for you, but if you store and use the vehicle outdoors, these boots DO NOT LAST. Don't waste your time and money.

These worked well, I thought I was getting two packets of grease but I only got one so you got to split it between the two. I watched a couple YouTube videos and they just smacked the end coupling off with a mallet, on this ranger there was a tiny snap ring in there that you had a spread in order for the end bell to come off, took me a lot of pounding before I figured that out.

These boots arrived on time, fit well & did what they were supposed to do. I must have cut my outer axle boot on the front axle of my 2006 Polaris Ranger. After cutting off the old boot,cleaning out the knuckle,regreasing & installing the new boot installing the clamps was easy using two pairs of vise grip pliers. Just pull,bend over to lock in place & trim off the extra clamp material. Good product,would use these boots the next time one rips or is cut by brush!
