What is a CV Boot?
- CV boots or drive axle boots are responsible for keeping the joints lubricated and preventing dirt and water from getting in

This kit contains everything you need to replace a torn or worn CV axle boot. You obviously have to have some mechanical skill or you wouldn’t be attempting this repair. This kit has all good quality parts and well worth the effort to save a bunch of money by not having to replace the entire CV axle. Highly recommend this kit.

The rubber seems to be good quality. The band clamps for the big end needed to be bigger in order to have enough slack in the end to use the proper banding tool. This issue turned a few hour job into all day trying to find something to work. The retaining rings in the kit were too thick and wouldn't fit in the groove of the axle.

The boot was a great fit, however after installing and test driving, I looked under my side-by-side and the brand new boot had split at the manufacturer seam. I don’t know if the quality was bad or I just got a bad boot, but I now have to complete the repair process all over again.

It’s a good kit for the money, would have given 5 stars if it came with better clamps, they are kinda generic, hopefully they hold up.

Great product as for fitment, only one bag of grease so either buy extra or use sparingly. Biggest issue was the clamps.. The only complaint we have is these are aftermarket clamps and cannot be used with the automotive clamp pliers we had ( expensive ones) so either a good pair of channel lock pliers/vise grips or buy the suggested tool.

Fit like original except axle nut was too large (re-used original. I may have ordered the wrong kit). Seems to be of good quality. Fairly easy to install.
