NICHE Steering Rack Assembly
The steering rack, also known as the rack and pinion, is an assembly in your vehicle that allows your wheels to rotate from side to side when you turn. The steering rack is one of the most important parts of the steering system. It transfers the movement from the steering shaft to the tie-rod shaft. It is the main component that transfers the directional command.
How to know when to replace?

Replaced my 2014 Ranger 900 Crew. Worked OK, Good for the Price. Adjustment linkage on tie rod very marginal (threads binding) but workable. Also Hardware Nuts very soft, Easily rounded considering how tight the nut area is. Should have used original Nuts. Forgot to even try them for size. :(

Perfect fit, have a Bobcat 3400xl, made by polaris, sometimes have to guess on what items will fit because bobcat wants you to over pay for their parts and will not release polaris part numbers, but got lucky and worked perfect

I'm not entirely sure of the quality of this steering rack assembly versus the Polaris OEM part, but I'm going to wager that it's at least as good as the Polaris counterpart, if not better.I was in desperate need or a rack and the price of this one fit the bill.It certainly feels like good quality to me. Time will tell.
