NICHE Steering Rack Assembly

The steering rack, also known as the rack and pinion, is an assembly in your vehicle that allows your wheels to rotate from side to side when you turn. The steering rack is one of the most important parts of the steering system. It transfers the movement from the steering shaft to the tie-rod shaft. It is the main component that transfers the directional command.

How to know when to replace?

  • One sign is difficulty with steering at lower speeds.
  • When driving, loose steering and shaking are signs of a bad rack.
  • Vehicle pulling to a side while going straight

Tie rods were entirely too long. Had toUse oem ones. Bolted right up and wasn’t hard to do alone. Would recommend just need to get the length figured out.
