Le plateau est petit et je doute de la durabilité car il commence à montrer des traces d'usure après environ une vingtaine d'utilisation. Le couvre plateau en silicone me semble durable et très facile à laver.

It was easy to cook the bacon but to clean it was a nightmare! I could clean the left over grease spots off of it even with a ton of dawn dish detergent😬

There's a concept in manufacturing called 'the better mouse trap'. That implies that one idea is better than the other. This NICO SEE WONDER Microwave Easy Bacon Maker fails that test. It cooks bacon just fine in the microwave—so does cooking bacon between layers of paper towels—, it just fails the fitment test: alignment of the various parts don't fit together properly. On the unit I bought and was shipped, the lid doesn't seat into the grove inside the top tray. Curiously, it fits perfectly on the bottom tray.However, the bottom try cannot be swapped with the top tray if you want them to stack neatly for storage. The top tray only fits into the bottom tray; the bottom tray does not fit into the top tray. What's curious is that all the parts appear to be exactly the same. But they are not. And—more of the same—the top tray does not sit well into the bottom bacon storage tray. The bottom tray does. SO—adjustments in usage have to be made. The lid only fits the bottom baking grill tray. But the top grill tray doesn't fit the storage tray and the bottom grill tray won't sit on the top grill tray.I decided to label the parts: "Top grill", "Bottom grill", so I can keep them in order for storage; and, "Lid, bottom grill only".One more thing—clean-up. Once all three sections are used, there are six separate parts that have to be de-greased and washed. A lot of microwave bacon cookers only have two, or like the other one I have, just the one. (It doesn't have a lid, so I cover it with paper towels.) Washing this NICO microwave bacon cooker is a lot of extra work.Is it a "better mouse trap" design for cooking bacon? Not really. If everything were to fit together properly, then maybe. But barely. Of course, "your mileage may vary". If this is the best appliance in your kitchen for cooking bacon, you might consider eating out more often.

I love it has lid to capture bacon juice from splattering everywhere. Handles make is super nice to pull out of microwave without burning myself. Pour spout makes it easy to pour in to recycling jars. Only con is how easy it is to clean. I don't have dishwasher, washing this by hand is not easiest. With the up & down crevices it is hard to get it clean in one wash. That would not stop me from buying it again just . Hoping for working dishwasher in future

I had to get this size and this one because I have a smaller microwave and the size filled up my microwave perfectly because I don’t have a large microwave and it does take longer to cook than the directions but it came out great and no splatter all over my stove top and it was easy to clean, so I’m happy to get it.
