Installation of new Rear Window Liftgate Glass Hinge Set
- 1. Open the rear glass even farther than normal to get the fasteners off the hinges, and disconnect the lift struts.
- 2. Prop up the glass. Then remove the fasteners from the hinge and pull off the hinge. Be sure to install the hinges on their correct respective sides.
- 3. Once everything is reconnected, open and close rear glass a few times to test it. If the glass seems uneven, or doesn’t latch right, adjust the positioning of the hinges and try again.

Product fit my 2010 Ford escape. Had some problems. The bolts to screw into the bracket were a little short so I had to remove a gasket to get them to reach and sit properly And one of the bolts was stripped completely so I had to use some Teflon tape to bulk it up a little. Definitely suggest mount to the glass first then to the trunk door. But overall it fits and they are secured. For the 20 bucks I think it was not a bad purchase

Once we finally removed the original damaged hinge, this one was easy to install and I haven’t had any leaks or breakage yet. I’ve only had it on about a week and will edit if there are any changes. So far it has worked really well

direct replacement ,just take your time unhook the glass window struts so the window doesn't push out when you remove the hinge ,do 1 side at a time and take your time
