Bought this as a replacement body cover for nikon z8. Item looked fine, however was not a very tight fit and was easily dislodged. Will not use again will wait until original cap is available.

Didnt take a picture but this is a simple body cap replacement for Nikon Z cameras.Somehow i feel like someone will ask if this will fit F Mount anyway....Moving along. Losing a lens cap is a pain weve all been there. Losing a body cap is another level of stress. Especially for mirrorless bodies. I only needed one, this order came with two body caps and 2 rear lens caps. Not complaining one bit. Theres even a little level included? I did notice since arent Factory ones...they seemed a little bit....snug...putting them on. Hopefully thats just a break in period.

These caps are of very poor fit. Others have mentioned this but seem to be ok with a poor fit. They only turn a tiny bit and I do not feel they are on the lens/body very securely at all. I am a working photographer and constantly changing lenses during a shoot. I need to know the caps will fit so my lens glass is not damaged. I would have returned them but I missed the return window.

The Z lens cap only rotates through half the angle of the original but seems to stay on OK. The Z camera body cap is fine. They are considerably cheaper than Nikon ones!

The caps were sturdy and good quality, but I had ‘fitment’ issues. They do fit, but they only turn about 1-2mm, where as my stock ones twist on roughly 10mm. It did stay on, but I prefer a more complete twist like the stock ones.
