The power window switch controls all 4 power window and window locks. When your switch fails you may lose control over one of these systems. This replacement switch installs in a matter of minutes and will give you full control again. The switch can plugs directly into your vehicle's wiring harness.

INSTALLTION
STEP 1
Open the vehicle's hood to disconnect your battery, Insert removal tool to the gap then remove the panel on the inside of the door.
STEP 2
Remove the switch assembly and disconnect the harness, clean the dust off the plug and the connector Insert to a new switch
STEP 3
Tighten the battery clamp. Ensure that the connection is good.
STEP 4
Testing the power window switch.

Tips: Do NOT spill water on the car door,any water seeping in can lead to internal short circuiting.

Easily installed it today on a 2012 Ram 1500. Works great so far. Advance Auto wanted $183 for their part. So I figured I'd try this one first. If it fails in an unreasonable amount of time I will update this review.

2009 Dodge ram. Very sturdy feeling doesn't free cheaply made. Fit perfect and works perfect so far. 5 minute repair. Little tool helped pop it out quickly. Good price. Fast delivery.

This one I noticed a difference that was night and day in comparison to the last one from a different seller that I purchased last year. This controller is constructed with heavier plastic and it fit much better than the previous at installation. Kudos! Let's see how much longer this one will last.

Ok so let me say it work sometimes but it's better than I had. The auto up amd down for front windows doest work for the up as it has to be pushed at the rear of the exact buttom your using and pulled up to at the same time. So that's a big problem for me. Your can't roll both front windows up at the same time. It's one or the other. The lock switch is a pain as it only works if you push it as soon as you get out. So don't wait and don't try to come back and push it. It won't work that way. So to be honest I would not buy it again. As I am fixing to just put the original back in and say forget it. And have to buy another one. Smh!!!! Very frustrating.......
