This fine straight pin tool simplifies pin nail use, preventing bent nails and finger injuries. It guides nails straight into surfaces like drywall and cork, and can be used with its built-in hammer for the same nails. It is not a heavy duty hammer so I won't be using it as such. It also features a nail puller for easy nail removal. While effective on dry wall and corkboard, it doesn't work well with solid wood. But that's not what it's for, it works great for it's purpose of hanging posters and artwork and is easy to use and does it's job well. Small size makes it handy and it accurately drive small pins straight into softer surface. Good value for the price and great quality.

The product page says this Olnamo brand nail tacker is stainless steel, but it's mostly aluminum. The one I got seems to be used, as it has dings in its face. It's a cute little tool for pushing pins into walls and other things. If you push a lot of pins or small nails (as long as the nail head will go into the end) into stuff, this will save your fingers.

This is one of those products that I didn't even know existed.A bit about me, if I can mess something up I will. With nails I will start to hammer them at an angle and I will hit my finger/s at least a few times.This has been a life saver! I do wish there were more sizes but for now this is great! It's one of those "why didn't I ever think of this?" items.

Very handy tool. I hated working with pin nails before because I always hit my fingers. if you start the pin nail and remove finger support too early it will either bend or fly away. This tool helps to drive them straight and without any risks of finger injury. You can drive pin nails either using an inertial hammer built-in to this device or use this device as a guide hitting the top with another hammer. If the nail got bent you can use this device to pry it out of the wood.

I thought all the reviews about this would make it an invaluable tool to have around, but now I have a weird little tool that will probably get very little use. I tried using it with the smallest straight nails I had, but they were too big (despite being very small). Then I attempted to use the "hammer" and it twisted on the threading when I hit the nail. No fun. I also attempted to use the puller, but no dice.Usually products made in Japan are so much more thought out, but not this one. Maybe I'll get the correct pins (which this probably should have included a few), and it'll change my mind, then I'll change my review.

This "NINJA Nail Tacker" arrived quickly and adequately packaged.It will be quite the time saver and finger saver in finely detailed nail and tack duties on little home projects.It is sturdy and thick. This tool will last for decades.Highly recommended.

The NINJA Nail Tacker (more accurately called a Pin Tacker) is a genius design. The idea is simple – support the pin firmly on all sides, then apply pressure to the head.I have used pins for years, to hang photographs, posters, art prints, children’s artwork, temporary installations. Pins work well, but are often difficult to get into a wall.The tacker works great on appropriate surfaces (cork, drywall, other relatively soft surfaces). It does not successfully drive a pin into wood paneling, masonite or other hard materials. The pin puller slit on the end works well and hasn’t damaged any surface I have tried it on.Be aware that pins with large heads will not fit into the tool. Many pins found in craft departments these days have round, plastic heads, easier to use when sewing, but not appropriate for this job.The NINJA Tacker is a winner.Made in Japan.
