Your cart is empty. There isn’t better way to store your leaders, especially if you want to store them fully rigged with tippet and a fly.
At just 7mm thick, they are much thinner and compact than the common foam rig wheels you commonly see and have way more features to offer.
Line locking tabs all around the rim so you can secure the end of your leader anywhere.
Plus 7 slits around the center hole to secure the end of your line as well, whatever fits your preference.
Also, there is a bar to hook your fly onto so you can keep the fly in the center hole protected from getting matted.
The backside of the spool is flat edged around the rim working as a guide to make it very easy to wind up your leader even though the spool is so thin.
The spools come in a 4 pack with 4 different colors so you can color code your leaders making it easier to find the one you are looking for.
You can also write on the face of the foam center with a fine point Sharpe marker details about the leader so you can’t forget what leader is on the spool.
These are great for your leader rigs but they are excellent for your multi-fly nymphing rigs, flies can be hooked in the face of the foam center as you wrap the nymph rig up.

We do a lot of salt water trolling and these are great to keep our lures from getting tangled. I’ve tried many different options for wrapping the leaders up but this is the best thing I have found. There are several similar products but this one is the best by far. The leader snaps into a notch and stays put until you use it. I’m so glad we found these! Makes it much easier to put out the lines when we aren’t trying to untangle leaders in a rocking boat.

There was some question about these line holders only being able to hold 10’ of level line. Completely misleading. I just put 15’ of 3.5 level line and 4 ‘ of tippit with room to spare. They would have no trouble holding 20’ of level line. Possibly more, but that is beyond the length I fish at. They are well made and the same depth as the larger sizes, just narrower.

I use packaged leader/tippet in the field and these prevent the tangling I usually deal with when putting the leader back in and out of the leader ziplock. Coupled with the right tippet replacement reels you can continue to build out and store your favorite leader/tippet recipes for fast deployment. I build out leaders of up to 9 feet.

Doesn't hold more than 10 feet of fly line. I got this to use for my 15 ft tenkara rod's line. Unfortunately, you can't fit more than ~10 ft of level fly line in the spool - it's too narrow and not deep enough to hold more securely. Even a 15 foot tapered tenkara line doest really fit securely. And just forget about using an extra long line on your pole and trying to store that line on this holder. So, it works well enough and it's cheap, but plan to wrap the last third of the line on the outside/over the top of the spool instead of wound up in the groove of the spool. Really, this is just a very poor design considering what the intended use is. But it will work if you need a cheap or disposable option.

These leader spools are well made. I use them to store my pre-rigged nymph leaders. I like having spare leaders already rigged up when I'm out on the water fishing, more time fishing and less time rigging. They are thin and easy to store in my fly fishing chest pack. Highly recommend.
