Remove Standard Ring
Before attachment, be sure to remove the mounting ring already included with the Fujifilm camera

Le doy 2 estrellas porque cuando quitas la tapa se trae el parasol (éste entra a presión, no a rosca como la mayoría de parasoles), o cuando lo rozas con algo, el parasol se cae, o se mueve y tienes que recolocarlo... Y eso me parece un error grave de diseño. Además, si decides no poner el parasol, la tapa original de la cámara no encaja en el filtro y no se puede usar. Otro fallo de diseño.Por lo demás todo parece de buena calidad, incluida la lente, pero no justifica los 89€ que cuesta, así que lo voy a devolver. Dos taras, en mi opinión importantes, como para pasarlas por alto.

Cuando lo montas que muy bonito paro cuando lo utilizas el objetivo cuando enfoca se bloquea por qué pega en el filtro un desastre

I’ve been very happy with this purchase. The filter doesn’t degrade the image and I can still attach a filter to the front. The lens hood stays on and or I can switch to the OEM lens cap.

I bought this because I loved the design of the lens hood with the added protection from the built-in UV filter. NiSi have unfortunately falsely advertised this attachment’s compatibility with the fujifilm x100vi. There is a small fault in this design where the UV filter is just too close to the camera lens itself and because of this you will get a ‘focus error’ message that freezes your camera whenever an object being focused on is too close to you. This is quite a serious fault as it has the potential to damage your camera lens. A separate adapter ring I own is also not compatible with this product to try and work around this issue. This seems to be something that many other customers have noticed and reported, it is frustrating to see that NiSi has still not addressed it.

This works perfect and looks super aesthetic. Only complaint is that it can freely rotate, so if you put it on slightly crooked, it stays that way. It would be amazing if it locked in only when it fit perfectly square.

it is a very beautiful add on to the camera, but if the magnet for the lens hood is that weak it becomes an acccesory only for desk display use. The lens cap should also be magnetic the sealing gives none attachment and falls of with almost none force. Very messy and troublesome if you intend a street use.

If you want this hood and filter, you know why you need it. They work well and integrate nicely into the camera. It looks like it should have come with it almost. However, there are a few issues I have found that have caused me to return, replace and return again. The hood is easy to get on and off with a nice press fit and rubber gasket. Because it does not screw on it can easily get out of alignment and can pull off the camera when you are trying to just remove the lens cap. the lens cap fits in a similar way. Press fit with rubber gasket. I took this on a trip the day I got it and while it was a warm weekend, nothing extreme. I found the rubber gasket on the cap to be deteriorating and the adhesive from it basically glued the lens cap to the hood.The bigger issue for me is the UV filter. A few things, it is ONLY internally threaded so only the included lens hood will work. because of this, you also cannot use the fuji adapter ring. This is the bigger issue. While the UV filter is basically integrated to an adapter, it is too close to the lens and EVERY TIME I try to take a landscape or infinity distance photo I get an error on the camera. Once you see a red FOCUS ERROR! you have to turn the camera off and back on again and your lens body has to pull back from the filter. The error is caused my the body hitting the filter and jamming it in place. At first I thought it was a defect in my x100vi, but it seems like the x100vi focus body moves slightly further out and it is a VERY common occurrence with this set to cause this. I do not want to damage my already hard to find camera and found this very frustrating.Ultimately returning the replacement (that I originally got for the lens cap issue) in order to get a true ring adapter to give me the right spacing for the filters and a lens hood.

How the camera looks like with the NiSi NC UV Adapter Hood Kit for Fujifilm X100 Series (Silver) — Lens Protection Filter on my Fuji X100F and one of the many shots I took with the filter on. I got this kit for two reasons: It really adds to the aesthetics of the camera; and secondly, for weather sealing and protection of my silver copy lens. Recently acquired the x100vI and this was the top recommend squarehood works as intended I love the easy snap on and off feature and the uv filter to protect the lense from scratches and the Elements. Definitely worth it
