This 10 Meter (32ft 8 inches), backbone/drop/extension cable is designed to connect sensors or displays to an NMEA 2000 network, or to extend the N2K backbone cable. The cable is terminated with NMEA 2000 connectors on both ends, with gold-plated contacts for corrosion resistance. The cable is black and is shielded to reduce interference.

Worked great for a drop cable.The Yamaha data cable was to short to reach the console. I built the NMEA backbone near the rear of the boat and used this cable to feed the Simrad GO XSE. Nice heavy cable but still very flexible. The connectors on the ends fit perfectly and thread onto the mating ends with no problem .
