Our2 year old Shih Tzu needed a new harness for our trip to the vet for his annual check-up. I chose the Premier Pet No Pull Comfort Dog Harness and I am glad I did. The harness is easy to adjust to just the right size and it is easy to put on and take off. Our little dog is not used to being on a leash. I like that this harness has the extra leash connector on the front near the chest area. This keeps him from pulling away and choking like he did with his old collar. He is more relaxed and I have better control. The harness is very well made and sturdy with quick connect buckles and easy adjustments. It is easy to maintain. When it gets dirty I clean with soap and water in the sink and hang it up to air dry. Great product!

Other harnesses never seemed to fit my chaweenie. She’s an odd shape. This fit like a glove. I didn’t even need to adjust it out of the box! It’s nice and wide and has good comfort for my dog. Has a handle on case you need to pick up your little one.

This is nice quality and it fits my beagle very well. She is quite the escape artist and has escaped out of it once but since I tightened it, it’s been secure around her. She doesn’t pull and I can guide and control her as needed.

This harness has been a great find for my dog, who has a habit of pulling and trying to wiggle free. The adjustable straps make it easy to get a snug, comfortable fit, and the padded design ensures it doesn’t pinch or rub under the armpits. I especially appreciate the front leash attachment, which helps discourage pulling and keeps my dog walking at my side. The sturdy construction and quality stitching give me confidence it will hold up over time. The padded handle on the back is a nice feature for quick control when needed. It’s easy to put on and take off, and the included instructions made adjusting the straps straightforward. While the price might be slightly higher than basic harnesses, the functionality, durability, and comfort make it worth it. My dog seems more relaxed on walks, and I feel much more in control. Highly recommend this for training or everyday use!

The front leash attachment encourages dogs to walk at your side instead of pulling. It's been a fantastic training tool for my dogs. The adjustable straps and padded design ensure a snug yet comfortable fit. The reflective elements add visibility during nighttime strolls. The step-in style and adjustable straps make it quick to put on and adjust for a secure fit.

Yes, the title is correct. Size matters. Most especially when it comes to fitting an animal for something like jackets, collars, costumes, or - in this case - harnesses. I have a 28lb Pug mix. The issue with this is that I have to purchase items as though I'm buying for a Frenchie, due to the fact that he's built like one (thanks to his medications).Based on the sizing chart, the small should have fit my dog perfectly. It does not. I really should have picked the medium, if only to have room for adjustment. With that being said, the harness itself was super simple to fit. The straps adjust with ease but do not slide out of place. There are no sharp parts or bad stitches. This didn't put pressure on or pinch my dog's armpits like many of the soft harnesses tend to do.The padded traffic handle is a fantastic feature, allowing you to have a way to fast-grip your dog safely whenever necessary (visitor at the door, animal racing across the path, restrain from bolting, etc.).I'm not a huge advocate of harnesses, especially if you're not familiar with how they trigger a dog's instincts. If you put a dog in a harness and hook a lead to the ring on the back, you will invariably teach that dog to pull you around town. I would train my dogs that the harness meant they were allowed to pull something as much as they wanted. (Now, a harness means my little dog gets to go for a ride and wear a seatbelt. Oh, how the times have changed.)This harness has a ring on the front that teaches a dog not to pull. By hooking the lead to the front ring and giving a slight tug, the dog's attention is diverted to you, which is where it should be.

My 17-ibs Rat Terrier Bonnie has wiggled out of all four harnesses I have tried, but not this one, not so far anyway although we didn't really try wearing it for long. I have no idea how she manages to escape any harness but I suspect she shares crucial DNA with cephalopods (just kidding, sort of). We tried wearing this harness briefly but it wasn't snug enough and quickly became kind of unbalanced (the photos probably don't really show this but it is what it is).I find some of the the rings on this harness and the whole design actually to be a bit confusing, but thankfully it comes with detailed instructions so at some point I do hope to sit down and painstakingly adjust the straps to fit the gorgeous curves of her little body.

At last! I have finally mastered my rescue dog's game of pulling me around the park! Caspian is a lovely little Lhasa Apso with the strength of a sled dog. I tried a lot of harnesses earlier, but I finally decided to just fence in the yard and let him run around freely, even though it was a little space. I came upon this harness on Amazon and felt compelled to try it again. I was really excited when he tried to back out. Unfortunately, it only took one attempt, and he was gone. So I adjusted a few of the five adjustment points, and yes! He had a difficult time and was left feeling frustrated. We can now walk around the park safely and comfortably together. This harness is ideal for dogs who do not naturally walk beside you.
