Your cart is empty. The HM306BKS 6V Snap-Top Battery Box is a battery storage solution for a single 6-volt battery sizes, including 6V Marine, RV, Boat, and Trailer Batteries. It features locking tabs to fasten the cover securely to the battery case, reinforced plastic handles to prevent cracking during battery relocation, and allows adequate ventilation of battery acid vapors. A great fit for deep cycle 6 V batteries, we use Trojan T105s. I also installed the B&D battery lock straps over the battery boxes and they work perfectly.

the battery boxes were a perfect fit. After reading other reviews, I drilled a small hole in the bottom of the box to allow for water to run out. Have had no issues and they look good on the trailer.

6v Battery fit perfectly in the box. Does come with a strap to attach the box, but I opted to use 4 self tapping screws in the bottom to hold them in place, and just use the strap as extra holding power for the lid. ( Which locks in place)

Not all 6V golf cart batteries are the same size, even when they specify a GC2 box/case. This box/case fits my Interstate GC2-RD's perfectly, extending about 1/2" above the top of the battery housing. But, with my Trojan T105-RE's, the case is about 1/2" BELOW the top of the battery housing. Not a huge issue, as the top cover of the box/case still fits, but I prefer the box/case to be above the top of the battery housing. Overall build quality of the box/case is excellent, the cover fits nicely and is easy to take on/off. A quality item that should give me years of service.

Hard to beat the value. The 6 volt size will perfectly fit a Trojan T105, or most 220 AmpHour 6 volts. I mounted mine on an angle iron rack built into a travel-trailer tongue, so the box material did not have to be structurally rigid. This will protect well against water or rocks from the roadway. There is a shielded gap in the lid, where you can run a connecting cable to a second 6 volt for use in a series. The strap is good for nothing more than holding the lid on. You will want to buy an additional strap if mounting this box externally to a vehicle or trailer. The price is what I though a plastic box should cost. Many cost more.

I bought two deep cycle 6V heavy duty motor craft 115 AH batteries for my RV to augment the electric storage capacity. The standard battery cases are not tall enough. With two of these where the previous single 12V battery sat close to the trailer tongue, there is not enough room for the covers to fit. This is most likely if you have limited space to place two of them lenghtwise. The good part is that cutting the cover extrusion on one side of each cover made it fit fine. I could not find an easy way to screen the strap holds the unit comes with into the metal base. The wood screws my came with sheared right off even after I drilled a hole in the 1/8" RV metal plate. The straps can be used though to wrap the battery around the RV base plates for a really solid hold. Sheet metal screes that will not sheer off would be nice, along with something that will not crack if used to hold the straps down.Overall I am very happy to have found these, they are light, inexpesive and do the job as long as the straps are tight to prevent the top from blowing away in the wind.
