Bought a new trailer in June 2024 which had a Norcold 2118SST refrigerator. Worked great until Dec 2023 when the Mode switch started working intermittently. In June 2024 it stopped worked altogether. Problem was that the Mode switch literally fell off the board. Bought a new optical control board from Amazon (Norcold was the reseller) to fix the problem. This review is for the replacement board which worked great until Feb 2025 when the Mode switch stopped working, Problem AGAIN was that the Mode switch fell off the board. Norcold (Thetford) refuses to do anything about the problem. The board obviously is poorly made and has quality control issues. The real problem here is that there is no other manufacturer of this board. I have just now (Feb 2025) reluctantly bought another optical control board thru Amazon (Norcold is the reseller). Can't say I have much faith in this board lasting any longer that the previous two.

The product I recieved was defective. It is missing contact points sw1 and sw2 on the control board. Unable to power on the fridge or change the fuel source.

This product is the entire front plastic housing and led screen along with the circuit board. Fit perfectly.

Perfect fit for the norcold 2118x model. Came with instructions that worked. Plugged in correctly without splicing wires
