The step in HF 120 Nordica boot can be tightened to fit for good power transmission, but the cable that makes this work is too long, and apparently cannot be shortened. The tightening mechanism on my boot is almost at its limit to make the fit tighter, and I have only used the boot four times.I suspect that it will be okay for the 2024/25 season, but it would be nice to be able to shorten the cable and lengthen the usable life of a boot that costs around $800.

Just FYI the only thing i believe makes these 120 flex over the heated version is the power strap. Looking back I should have bought the heated version and bought a seperate powerstrap

The most comfortable boots I have ever had. Good performance. Great comfort.

I've put in 12 days in these boots and they are every bit as comfortable as my retired Nordica Gran Sport 10s. I had the liners baked, and installed my custom footbeds.I've found that I'm a bit "in the back seat" a bit too much so I'll be experimenting with the velcro spoilers to try and increase the forward lean - which Nordica indicates is 14 deg without the spoilers.I have no range of motion limitations, nor do I need a boot that is easy to get on/off. I bought these because the Gran Sports were boots I could put on in the morning and never loosen or take off until the ski day was done. These HFs are the same - as comfy as a pair of slippers. So comfy that I thought there must be something wrong, but the fit is good. Recommend you get to a boot fitter to customize the liners and make sure the size is right. I'm in a 26.5 boot and I wear about an 8 1/2 mens shoe.I don't race, but I ski hard and these boots keep up on piste.
