This is by far, the best MIDI keyboard controller money can buy hands down, worth every penny.CV output, dual MIDI output, and everything down to the wheels are software controllable.There is no pitch drift so common with cheaper keyboard controllers.The Novation Components software allows you to configure the board as just about anything on the market from NI Komplete Kontrol to OB6 to Sculpt to Nord Lead 2 to Prohpet and a myriad of others not to mention you can customize it from scratch.The built in sequencer is the icing on the cake.I might get their Launchkey 88 as a companion to this.

I have been using the keyboard for less than a year, but it has been a pleasant experience so far. I mainly use it for home recording with Logic Pro, and it works really well. The keys have a realistic feel and it's fun and "simple"(friendly) to use.I definitely recommend it for anyone with a home studio or similar.

I'm kicking out all kinds of tracks in ableton. Still don't really know how to use it as a standlone sequencer nor do I care, 1 press of the "in control" button and it's literally "ableton mode". game changer for me coming from a cheap simple midi controller.

Great keyboard, so much to explore but mainly use for incontrol mode with Ableton Live. Mapping macro to encoders is a one click process and is essential for the hands on automation i love.AU adaptor didnt come shipped but Focusrite UK sorted a new one out no problem.Definitely recommend this kayboard!

I have owned this controller for nearly 2 years now and absolutely love its very well thought-out integration with Ableton live.The RGB lighting is a pleasure to look at, the pads respond very well for velocity-sensitive finger drumming and the keys, even though semi-weighted, feel very natural to play. I never realized how much time I spent away from the guitar/keys and messing with the computer clicking things and breaking my musical concentration. This thing _really_ makes a difference with its Ableton integration for being able to stay the heck away from the keyboard and mouse.The reason that I am writing this review, however, isn't to praise the controller - it has enough of that already. The reason I am writing this review is to commend the absolutely AWESOME customer service at Novation. Through a series of unfortunate circumstances I have had a few of these in my hands now and only one of them was due to an actual malfunction. When one of the sliders wouldn't hold a zero (after about a year's use) midi value at the very bottom of its travel, Novation set up a remote meeting with a tech where he installed a midi monitoring application and worked with me remotely to confirm the hardware fault. The unit was replaced with a refurb in great condition.About a year later the unit I had sustained some physical damage and I reached out to seek repairs. After a conversation with customer service - and I need to add here that they were very responsive, no more than a day turn between correspondence - they once again advised me of the options and I chose to go the refurb way. When the 2nd refurb arrived, it was in significantly poorer condition than my first one. I reached out to Novation again, this time not expecting much, since I needed a replacement through no fault of theirs and thought it would be completely fair to tell me to just deal with a well-loved unit. After sending some pictures and video detailing my concerns with the condition, the customer service representative worked with me to get a brand new unit (for a price obviously, but the refurb price). I have been, throughout, very impressed with Novation's customer support - responsive, knowledgeable and actual real people you can talk to about your gear. They really stand behind their product. That's something I really respect and is sadly not as frequent these days as one might wish.If you are looking for a feature-rich, affordable (as far as music gear can be) and enjoyable MIDI controller (with very intuitive Ableton integration) this should already be on your radar. If you expect or at least hope for great customer service, where a real and competent human being is on the other end of the communication - Novation is a great choice.

Es ist für mich das Midi-Keybord der Midi- KeyboardsEs hat so viele zusätzliche, vor allem Praktisch brauchbare Funktionen. Herauszuheben sind hier:-Bedienbarkeit-eingebauter Stepsequencer/Arpegiatior-Scale Funktion-Support von Hardware instrumenten (CV-Ein und Ausgänge; Profile für diverse Sythesizer Konfigurationen)und noch einiges mehrAbstriche musste ich nur beim Editor feststellen, der ist nicht so intuitiv bedienbar, da es aber zieg vor konfigurierte Presets gibt, brauchte ich den Editor quasie gar nicht

I love this thing. I use Ableton Live already so it has been a workflow improvement. It has still been getting firmware updates too. My only wish is that they would integrate nks and the light guide but I doubt that will happen. Other than that I have no complaints. It really is the "almost perfect" midi keyboard.

We got this for our son who composes music regularly. He has been inspired the last month and produced more than ever. Integrated well with his Mac and programs for sound design. Really wonderful sound.Ability to use DAW for recording, sound volume, design - he is very productive.

Overall it does what it says and is really nice. BUT some of my keys make a pop sound when I press and then release. Pressed really hard on it out of frustration and it popped very loud and then hasn't popped since. I don't know what that was about but as far as functionality goes it was unaffected and continues to perform properly.

The keyboard arrived, seemingly in mint condition. No dings, great packaging and a durable, weighty instrument for a MIDI Controller. However...it will not turn on. The power will not function. It is a defective unit. For the price I paid, it is ridiculous that this instrument doesn't turn on, and the fact I will have to wait until they receive the item back to get a refund is equally absurd. When I received a damaged Ultrawide Monitor, everything was replaced and they picked it up right from my house. In this scenario, I have to print a shipping label, find a UPS. Completely tedious situation, set back my work for several days. Absolutely terrible situation.

Desde que empece a utilizarlo, tuve algunos problemas con sintetizadores, como el OB6, me dejaba sin sonido el OB6 y ahora, cambia la sesion seleccionado a otra diferente, mientras estas tocando, con lo que cambia el sonido y lo que tengas configurado. Como parece que Novation sabe que hay problemas con el OB6, la transmision de parametros NRPN, ha actualizado el firmware. Pero aqui esta el siguiente problema, su software es incapaz de actualizarlo, queda atrapado en un bucle esperando reinicio hasta que finalmente components (su software) se rinde y dice que no hay conexion. Su pagina no ayuda en absoluto y ya he probado todo lo que dicen, siguen sacando actualizaciones de firmware, pero como no se pueden instalar...

Key bed is great, zones can be changed on the fly minus the name of them. That can be edited on the app later on. I'm using it with my Kronos and Perform VK. The color coding makes it easy to remember which zone you are using and what it controls. I'm not using the CV yet but when I'm ready I can add an analog mono synth. I'd highly recommend this one.
