Went to install the battery and the wire broke at the connector. Sent message to manufacturer and got no response. But talked to Amazon and they sent me a new one right away! Will change my stars when I get the new battery and see how that one works.

Screwdriver provided for Garmin OTR500 is too big. It requires a T4 torx bit.

I could not believe that we could get a new battery for that old GPS. It was easy to install and very easy dvd instructions.

Warning!!! Don't waste your money! This is not an OEM replacement! The dimensions of the product are not the same as the OEM battery that you are trying to replace!!! I don't know how Amazon can sell this as a replacement battery. Totally useless, doesn't work, and will not fit!!! The instructions are useless too! Anytime instructions are necessary to install a replacement battery, that is a clear sign that it is NOT to OEM specifications. Be forewarned!!!
