I recently picked up a pair of anegine NP-F550 batteries to power my 10x10 LED light panel, and I'm really pleased with their performance so far. The 2900mAh capacity provides ample power, allowing me to shoot for extended periods without needing to swap batteries. This has been a game-changer for longer shoots, both in the studio and on location. One of the standout features for me is the built-in USB-C charging port. It's incredibly convenient to be able to charge these batteries directly from my laptop or a portable power bank without the need for a separate charger. This simplifies my workflow and reduces the amount of gear I need to carry around. While the USB-C charging is a big plus, I did find that it takes around 2 hours to fully charge a completely depleted battery. I was initially hoping for a slightly faster charging time, but it's not a major drawback considering the convenience of the USB-C charging itself. In terms of build quality, the batteries feel solid and well-constructed. They fit snugly into my light's battery compartment with no issues. I've also been impressed with their overall performance – they consistently deliver the power my light needs without any fluctuations or drops.Overall, I'm very happy with the anegine NP-F550 batteries. They offer a great combination of performance, convenience, and value. If you're in need of reliable and affordable NP-F550 batteries for your camera equipment, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend giving these a try.

I got these for a *very* old 2001 Sony Mavica MVC-FD75 digital camera, the kind that uses floppy disks to store the pictures. As a collector of vintage tech and toys, it makes me very happy that the NP-F550 battery design is still in use today, and even seeing improvements in the form of higher capacities and convenient USB-C charging. I got these in, charged them up, put one in the camera, powered on and started taking charming low-resolution pictures just fine. These do charge very slowly on the included split cable, but that makes sense given that they're sharing the current and both charging at just half-speed. On a cable by itself one of these charged from low enough it was giving the flashing "low battery" warning to full again in just three hours from a generic 2-amp USB power brick, and that's not bad at all, really. As for capacity, I can't compare them directly to the OEM, because my camera's OEM battery is quite weak from being so old, but one of these gave me plenty of runtime for taking pictures on a short 2-hour hike shooting almost nonstop, so I was happy. These did just fine for me, and travel much more handily than the original battery and its bulky charger bay, so I'd say they're worth 5-stars, definitely.

I use these for portable battery powered Led light panels and for a S60 slider. The battery life is as expected although these will drain quickly if trying to use them with a 50w panel light for example so consider what you're using them for and if you might be better off with 770s or 970s. The These have the USB C charging ability that I prefer. It makes it easy to charge them and to charge in the field with a battery bank or my car charger. I don't even have a NP-F type charger anymore because these are the only type I'm interested in using. These mount and click in with no effort but also fit securely. I haven't found them to stick or be hard to eject from any of the panels I have or my slider. These will work best with a lower power device. My slider lasts for a full days session with these. I love the convenience of these and the blue case makes keeping them with a certain device easy without making labels.

These batteries fit my two Mavica cameras, an FD75 and FD200, and run them perfectly. I really like that I can just plug them into my phone charger, instead of needing the bulky and NP-F specific one. These are essentially the same size as the 'small' Sony L-batteries, such as the NP-F300/330/350 and NP-F500/530/550/570. I've ran into issues with some third-batteries getting stuck in the FD75, because they were physically larger than the original Sony units. These come out just fine, but don't slide quite as easily as the originals.USB-C charging is implemented correctly on this product. It has the correct 5.1k pulldown resistors, so a USB-C charger will detect its presence and start outputting power, including with an e-marked cable. A USB-A to 2xUSB-C splitter cable is included. Only the power lines are tied through, and it has proper 56k pullup on the USB-C ends. While I wish it were fully USB-C instead of USB-A, it's of good quality and built in a safe way.In my capacity testing, I found they fell a little short of the 21.5Wh (2900mAh) rating. I charged them both from empty, and they took in around 18Wh each (around 2500mAh). That's less than the 21.5Wh and 2900mAh rating, but still larger than any official Sony pack of this type, and definitely give better runtime than the original batteries. They take roughly two hours to fully charge.Build quality is good, with sturdy plastic housings. As mentioned, they're only slightly larger than official Sony batteries, and fit well in cameras meant for them. These may seem expensive compared to other NP-F batteries which charge directly with USB-C, but the cheaper ones are physically larger and will not fit in cameras with enclosed battery bays. When you take that into consideration, they're on-part with competition. Other than falling slightly short of their capacity rating, I have no complaints. These work great and vastly simplify the charging situation for running old cameras.
