I bought this mitt for our travel ball team. The kids were much more comfortable diving back to the bag and the length of the mitt gives them an extra inch or two. We used it for a drill and the kids all used the same one. I plan to get a couple more so we will have one for 3 base runners. Much better than the ones that have the thumb outside the mitt. Hand is protected even if stepped on.
