These worked ok, but I could never get them to align perfectly so I always had a little gap with my head unit. I wound up taking the other unit out of service because it had performance issues, so took these out at the same time.

These fit well and finished the look of the 7" double stereo install on my 2006 Highlander. The holes didn't line up perfectly to the stereo, but I got enough screws in to hold it in place under normal circumstances.

I was struggling with an install of a double DIN stereo I found on Amazon as the face it came with did not at all fit the opening of my 2006 Toyota 4Runner SR5 (not Limited, single DIN stock radio). I had to use the stock mounting bracket as there is no good option otherwise, and this stock mount did not align well with the new head unit. In my attempt to fill in the gaps, I attempted the recommended install kit and found the kit was also way off. It turned out all I needed to do is order this kit that only needs to fill the side gaps (not bottom or top), and adjust the mounts so that the face pops through the opening enough (not aligning to the original holes for the mounting screws). Also, these side pieces did stick out a little because I had to screw to the outside on the stock mounting plates, so I just used the plastic pry tool that came with the stereo to adjust the sides while aligning the face into place. Everything fit together like a glove (after a bit of "adjusting"). As long as I don't have to pull the dash panels apart, all look great!
