Worked as described. Was able to enjoy the water rides & pool with my phone in this. String did not break. My phone was fine. My son was skeptical at first when I offered one to him, but after seeing me having my phone and still enjoying the water with my undamaged phone, he decided to use it on the next trip.

This is a preliminary review so everything's fresh in my mind. I haven't field-tested these. This review is totally UNsponsored, UNcompensated, and I have NO affiliation with the manufacturer/vendor.I was impressed with this product. This is not 'just a glorified Ziploc bag'. Thoughtful execution went into this. Some I only realized after receiving it.The problem with reviews is you only see reviews written by people who actually decided to buy the item, not people who found something that seemed better. For reference, I considered these other 2 ASIN's: B0BHQTBQ3D (Hiercool, Clear/Clear)--which is strongly promoted by Amazon, and B0D7RBC5SK (Aittitue Floating Pouch). Most waterproof phone bags resemble the Hiercool, and many are of lower quality than it.For the Hiercool (not this brand), I didn't trust their single-point-of-failure plastic lanyard clip mechanism, plus the way the bag attaches to the plastic frame, though the latter probably would've been fine. All of these types of bags have "zip" type sealing, but the Nulaxy bag has 2 zips. The floating bag model (again, not this brand) is similar to the Hiercool, but a different, larger shape. I didn't go with the floating one because the air bubble for floatation would impede touch operation of the phone, and that bag flares way out at the bottom for its limited opening--it's more for storage only.Like I said, this Nulaxy's bag has a double zipper. I don't see the need for a triple zipper. A single zipper (like some other brands) would be okay--until it wasn't. But with 2 zips, there's a backup, so that's perfect. The fact that the opening is curved around inside the tube probably makes it more watertight.STURDINESSWhat struck me about the Nulaxy is that it's virtually impossible for the bag to be pulled out of plastic attachment. This plastic tube seems sturdier and simpler than the busier and seemingly more-fragile plastic hatch clasps or tabs of other brands. For the plastic bag to pull out, that plastic tube would have to break. Not impossible, but a lot less-likely. The soft rope lanyard seems strong enough too. I've seen negative reviews of other brands which attach using a single plastic clasp in the center, where the plastic broke and the phone dropped (ouch).. one guy fully lost his into water. I don't think that could happen with this model, which is nice.THE LANYARD & ATTACHMENTThe lanyard is a soft rope, vs the nylon strap you get on most other brands.I also think having the rope on BOTH sides is more STABLE than the single, center clasp attachment point of competitors. And way more reliable. The length of the strap is adjustable, employing a spring-loaded lanyard stop, which you slide behind your neck. So it's faster to adjust than a nylon strap. However, I prefer to use that adjuster in the FRONT, to be able to make the neck hole SMALLER. This could prevent my phone from being whisked off by a wave, or snatched by a pickpocket lifting it over my head. It could afterwards be loosened at will. When I bought it, I actually thought there WERE 2 of those spring-loaded drawstring adjusters, but there's only 1. The other plastic bit at the top I saw in the photos is actually just a joiner, probably to hide a knot bringing the rope together. I don't know how to add an adjuster without breaking that clasp. If they'd just put a second adjuster on there (costing just pennies), it would've been adjustable from in front AND BEHIND the neck.If there's room for improvement, I'd like to see double lanyard stops on each bag.One workaround could be to tie a half-knot in the back (at just the right place), and use the lanyard stop up front to cinch the loop closer to the neck. Not ideal, but maybe. Or break the clasp and add an adjuster (which I don't want to do).I don't see a need to lengthen it, so that part is fine.THE BAG ITSELFThis may sound weird, but I was impressed at how good-quality the actual bag plastic was. It's a very supple, quality-feeling, very clear material--not too thin or thick. The listing calls it ThermoPlastic Urethane (TPU). I hope so (no chlorine, so no dioxins; more expensive). To me, it felt like Vinyl or PolyVinyl Chloride (PVC) (chlorine-bearing and less environmentally-friendly), though I didn't know bags could be made of TPU (the material used to make jelly-style phone cases). I did some research, and some bags are made of TPU, so that's quite cool! The world needs to transition away from chlorine-bearing plastics. Doesn't sound like a big deal, but it genuinely is. (And stop viewing CO2 as a pollutant.)The heat seals around the edge are thick enough, and there are 2 around the perimeter. There's no coloring flim-flam to pain over: just clear. If I were using this underwater, I might tie a piece of what's called "flag tape" to the back of the lanyard, to make it more visible if I dropped it to the bottom. And/or tape a piece of brightly-colored paper wrapped around the back and sides of my phone. Or something else simple and creative.I like that the permiter is clear: nothing to block your camera lens, and less attention-getting. I chose black color for the same reason: so it won't show dirt as easily from outdoor outings. There was a very slight expected 'vinyl raft' smell to the bag (it is chlorinated plastic after all--they all are), but not much--really better than expected. The zips are thick and soft, sealing reassuringly. Confidence-inspiring.I don't see many avenues to failure. It's a big deal when people lose their phones, especially while traveling, so this is no small matter.LARGE ENOUGHMy concern for some of these bags was, would my phone fit? Many of the waterproof bags were designed years ago, before phones got so big. I was relieved that this bag was big enough to fit my wider-than-normal 6.7-inch cellphone with a thick case, with a little room left over! I didn't have to "squeeze it down". I suspect even a 6.8-inch Pixel 9 Pro XL in a case would fit (the biggest mainstream phone I know of currently). So the size seems perfect.SOUND -- AND SHOWER SPEAKER?I wasn't expecting this. I could hear the speakers almost as clearly through the bag, as without (!). It didn't sound 'muffled'. It was almost strange. I actually think you could hear audio underwater with this, barring external noise. This thing could potentially transform your phone into an unexpected and inexpensive SHOWER SPEAKER! Tie the rope to your shower pipe? I don't know if water droplets would act like touch inputs. (Might have to get creative.) I just thought of this while writing, or I would've tried it! Don't let your phone (or any lithium battery) get too hot, though (no saunas!).TOUCHI was also surprised at how well the touchscreen worked through the bag. As another reviewer experienced, I was even able to get the fingerprint sensor to work, at least sometimes. I didn't think the reader would work at all. I THINK I recall reviews of other brands which used different plastic, where the fingerprint sensors didn't work at all.I tried different phones: ones with known-better fingerprint sensors worked better. Ones with notoriously bad sensors or screen protectors, I think you'll have difficulty. But any success is gravy and unexpected (it's not an advertised feature).I've also found that how well you make the original fingerprint imprints affects future recognition reliability (like how hard or light you press). Any such issues are magnified when using it through the bag, similar to a poor-quality screen protector. For instance, I noticed some of my fingers just worked better than others. This goes back to how well they were originally taken, even if they all worked fine without the bag.Ideas: you could try re-registering 1 or more fingers through the bag; you could register 1 finger using 2 fingerprint slots, which increases reliability. Worst case scenario: you might need to temporarily make an easier (or no) security code to easily unlock if you're using it on vacation. Or use face recognition, if available (which I normally wouldn't recommend).I haven't tried other waterproof bags, but it's clear the plastic they used was carefully chosen.. not just something thrown together to make some yuan (which disappointment I've almost become accustomed to).OTHER NOTES (bullet points)- As I anticipated, the quality, thick heat-sealed seams on this bag do interfere somewhat with pressing side buttons . I don't see any way around this. It IS still possible to press them, but I was looking for other ways when possible. Ideas: there are Screen Lock apps that can place an icon on the Home Screen or Pulldown Menu. To ulock, you can tap the screen instead of pressing the Power button.- I had to press the air out of the bag, or the air bubble interfered with getting my finger reliably to the touchscreen. This is normal. When the air is mostly out, the center part of the clear bag wil kind of lay flat, and kind of adhere to the center of the screen, but the edges were raised off because of my case. That didn't seem to interfere with anything. Like I said, Touch worked amazingly. Considering there's no air bubble, the phone will sink, but you actually want that if you're swimming, or you'll be dragging it around like a ballon in the water. If you still want it to float, there might be some imaginative things you could do with this one, as an alternative to getting a bespoke floating bag.- Alternative uses: when purchasing this, I only had in mind water and sand protection. But now I see it can be used: on walks, where you want to take photos or check your phone frequently; while exercising, to protect from sweat or rain; or even listen to speech/audio while walking around, as the position keeps the speakers in a pretty good position to your ears. Bonus tip: after (literally) years of searching, I finally found the best vehicle for listening to a phone's speakers while walking around: a (small) 'mesh water bottle bag' (something like ASIN B0C7M395J7). But frankly, this is almost as good, and provides way more protection, albeit more inconvenient to deploy. But maybe better, as a mesh bag requires removing the phone to tap the screen. Hmm...- Despite real-world experience, a potential tip for aquatic use would be to place it inside the phone before going to the water area (especially while in dry, air-conditioned air), and keeping the phone in the bag until you're AWAY from water and fully dry. I've seen reports in reviews of other brands where bags "fog up" and prevent photos or phone use, sometimes even damaging the phone--not necessarily from the bag leaking, but from incidental exposure to water while it's OPEN, and THEN PUTTING IT BACK IN. Probably from wet hands, humidity, or water droplets that were above the bag's zipper (between the plastic lips). This dry bag system is useful enough that you probably won't absolutely need to take it out until you're back, so that's what I'd recommend.

I took this on a kayaking trip and my phone stayed completely dry. Before I went, I tested it in two ways.First to make sure that you actually can use your phone through the plastic which yes, you definitely can and there wouldn’t be any fuzziness to the photos when it was in here. The photos looked exactly the same whether I took them without it being in this pouch or in so that is great.I also tested the waterproofness by putting a paper towel in the pouch and then sealing it up as Described. It has two press zipper seals and then you fold it over twice and then you put it in the black holding tube. Makes it 100% waterproof as long as you press all the seals. I submerged it in water as well as sprayed it and the paper towel was completely dry as was my phone with any water spray from the kayak trip. While the cord that you put around your neck is a good length and comfortable and great for being able to hold it out and take pictures, but I do wish it was a little bit longer when trying to take selfies while still having it around my neck to make sure I didn’t drop it in the water. You can take selfies but they are a bit closer than I’d like! But I can take it off my neck or then I ended up looping the cord around my life jacket clip and the length was perfect for selfies!

I am using this to protect my phone in the bath and it works really well. It’s basically a double sealed plastic bag that is really secure and through which you can swipe and operate your mobile phone. I’m using it to read e-books and I really appreciate the sense of security. I wouldn’t hesitate to use this on the beach to protect my phone from sand or to go in the sea with it to take pictures. You get two of these in the box so it’s good value for money too. Thumbs up.

They work as intended at least for a little while. They do keep your phone dry when all the stars are aligned and when the super cheap double seal and swivel brackets stay intact.Do not expect these to be with you for years to come, but if you're going out on the boat, ocean, skiing or any other water activity you should be fine. However... THEY DO NOT ALLOW YOU TO OPERATE THE PHONE UNDERWATER! PERIOD! The touch screen becomes completely useless, the camera will not allow you to take pics!
