Got these to practice form and style and upon arrival noticed two things: 1 - It smelled. Not badly, but distinct (it's the rubber). 2 - It's weighted, to the point where it could be mistake for a real nunchaku. The chain is a bit iffy from the heaviness, but I won't fault it for something that can be remedied with a simple fix. They are a strange item, being both sturdy and flexible simultaneously. Do be careful swinging them around.

Bought 2, because I spin. The weight is pretty good but I’m too short for the lower legs routines and maybe around my neck. But fit and finish are good and I haven’t broken the chain on either of them yet, so yeah I’d buy again, for sure.

Somewhat bendable, nice weight. Only hit myself a few times. When the pains gone I'll learn

It maybe made of rubber but it still hurts and give me a bruise once lol. That was my fault. The Num-chuks are great for training your arms and forearms. Also good in case of ninja attack on your home and or residence. I myself have used them in anger on a defective fire alarm and a printer. It is a good stress reliver to use them on inanimate objects that you hate. I would recommend watching a few training videos on how to use them. You will not be Bruce Lee or Michelangelo in a afternoon.

Watch out when these are swinging! I got these for my teenager to practice with and he said this is a good set. They are heavy though and if any part of your body comes into contact with one of these nunchucks while they are moving, it's going to hurt. These are solidly built and have already stood up to A LOT of use. The only down side I have seen with these is that they are made of rubber and it comes off on your hands. After training with them, it looks as though you rubbed your hands all over a tire. I imagine every rubber set of nunchucks will do this. This is why I only gave it 4 stars. Overall, this is a good quality set.

This is a quality product. Well made ! It is weighted perfectly and the rubber is tough but doesn’t hurt if you should mistakenly hit yourself!

The price is right n these, but they're a bit too close to "toy" and too far away from "equipment" for me. Here are the problems:(1) The chain is too long. The physics don't quite work right because of the length of the chain. They just don't afford enough control, either when applying power or when lifting power and expecting them to travel along a particular trajectory. It's on my list of "todos" to cut the chain off and replace with a shorter piece of rope for that reason.(2) The foam doesn't stay attached. Use these for 5 minutes and guess what? *Vooooomp* the foam slides right off of the weapons and goes flying across the room mid-strike/block/spin/whatever. You will find that you need to apply some glue when reattaching the foam after this happens, or your practice sessions will instead be turned into "fetch the foam" sessions.(3) Build quality ain't great. A few strikes and the plastic inside the foam is starting to come apart. For a highly kinetic piece of equipment that's supposed to be a *weapon* that's not good. Now I don't expect to get into any actual combat situations with these or anything, but I'm talking fitness for purpose as a practice weapon—here we have a practice weapon that doesn't want to be moved very quickly or suffer too many impacts. Ugh.End of day, like I said, the price is the main draw here but if you plan to actually practice with your weapons for a couple hours a day, and not just let the kids play with them, these may not work for you. You'll certainly need to make some mods just so they'll hold up to practice conditions. And if you're going to have to invest time to shorten and dollars to glue anyway, may as well just spend $10 more and get better practice weapons, IMO. YMMV.
