Did not really had a chance to use it. My dog was sick for a while and she died July 22nd. I was waiting for her to get better before using this product, which I am sure is very good..

Wow...what a difference this product has made! Our 9 year old beagle has tummy issues that bothered him mostly in the mornings. Often he would throw up bile, and his stomach would make all sorts of noises (acid). When it was really bad, our beagle wouldn't even want to eat. Those who have beagles know...hounds want to eat all the time! We have taken him to the vet and tried several things including antacids. The vet suggested feeding him some cheerios before bed so h wouldn't have so many hours with an empty belly. These things helped, but I must say the probiotics did the trick. We started him with one capsule in the evening with his cheerios about 2 months ago and he has not had one issue since. Not a single one. This poor little guy suffered probably twice a week with vomiting and cramping etc. It also helped with loose stool too! Worth a try! PLEASE NOTE THIS PRODUCT INCREASED IN PRICE NEARLY THREE DOLLARS IN LESS THAN 2 MONTHS! RIDICULOUS!!!!

A few months ago my 13 year old dog got diarrhea caused by a bacteria in her gut. Nasty, stinky, explosive diarrhea that came without warning all over everything. I stepped in some while wearing socks when I got up in middle of the night to get a drink of water. It was awful. The vet gave her antibiotics and a prescription pro-biotic. This killed the bad bacteria, but she still have diarrhea. Apparently she is to old and cannot heal her gut or establish new, good bacteria in her gut. Poor doggy. Poor me. Poor, poor my new carpet.for a loooong month and a half we tried lots of stuff. Prescription food, organic food (the worst, most diarrhea inducing experiment), prescription probiotics, meds.... nothing worked. I was actually thinking this would be what killed her. Until we tried these probiotics. What ended up working was putting her back on her normal dry dog food and giving her one of these capsules a day.If I miss a day, the diarrhea comes back. She has been on these for two months now.I give it to her by opening the capsule onto a spoon, holding her mouth open, and dumping the powder down her throat. Same time every day. Much less messy than trying to make her swallow a capsule or hiding it in bread of cheese. I think she likes the taste. She gets excited when I pull the bottle down.

My large pup, one-year-old, has had a problem with loose stools for months. I've had him checked by the vet, tried changing food brands, adding pumpkin (recommended by his vet) and other fruits and veggies to his diet, and feeding smaller amounts. Occasionally things would firm up but always reverted to the ever larger (as he grew) mushy piles that oozed down into the grass. Oh my gosh . . . what a mess to clean up! As it is important for people to have the right balance of bacteria in their stomachs, it stands to reason that dogs would be the same so, after reading good reviews, I ordered Nutri-Vet Probiotics from Amazon. When the first order came, the seal was broken on both bottles but Amazon replaced them both quickly (the unsealed ones were returned to Amazon at their expense). There was a difference in the firmness of his stools after just a couple days and they have improved to normal consistency. Although the label says "liver chewables", I pull the capsules open and mix the powder with his food - he likes it just fine - and dosage directions are on the container. I believe that probiotics solved our problem and Nutri-Vet seems to have the correct mix of bacteria. I highly recommend them for your dog's good health.

I have been giving these probiotics to my dogs for about 6 months and all of their health issues went away! My boxer had chronic diarrhea. We switched her food many times trying to find a food that didn't give her diarrhea but none helped. The vet said she has signs of inflammatory bowel disease according to the tests. Before putting her through possible surgery I put her on probiotics and switched her to a grain free diet. Problem solved! Her stools became normal and I had my fun loving boxer back. My lab had problems with his anal glands. He had the dreaded fishy butt smell and was constantly licking back there and even crying sometimes. He was also getting ear infections which labs are prone to. After putting him on these probiotics the fishy smell went away and so did the licking. He also hasn't had a problem with ear infections. Unfortunately when the price of these went up we switched to another brand that cost a little less. BIG MISTAKE! All of their issues came roaring back! Needless to say we will be paying the extra cost and sticking with Nutri-Vet probiotics!

Our dog Prince was boarded in a kennel for 12 days while we attended a wedding out of the country. Upon returning he had diarrhea and was throwing up. The vet prescribed anti-biotics and probiotics. We ran out of the probiotics the vet gave us but Prince's symtoms returned. After shopping on Amazon I ordered the Nutri-Vet pro-biotic and in 24 hours he was 100% better. Now we routinely give him 2 a day and we have had no issues for 2 weeks. What I like about the capsules is they can be easily opened and sprinkled on his food, or if we forget they go down his mouthnicely. On a side note, he was at a really great kennel where he could run with the other dogs he got along with and our vet said a dog coming home with a virus is very common, like a child indaycare who picks up a virus from another child. The vet said 12 days may have been a little too long for him and stressed him out, he suggested a probiotic be given to a dog while in akennel. We will be ordering more for him as we consider giving him probiotics to be part of his daily routine.
