Set it to what should have been spring pressure (7psi) and on the first dyno pull my car spiked to 24psi and blew up instantly. Pulled everything apart thinking my wastegate had failed but nope, it was fine. This was the only part that we could not confirm to be good so i hucked it into the woods where it cant hurt any more M52s

Worked great out of package. Wanted 13 pounds of boost and that is exactly what it was set to. Happy coincidence. Holds pressure perfectly. Has instructions in english not some Chinese version of english which is refreshing. Highly recommend!

I'm writing this review as I am buying my second boost controller from this seller.Is this something that you could put together yourself from Home Depot? Probably, but after buying all the fittings and spending the time gathering it all and putting it together, I would rather just pay the $20 and save the time and effort. (I'm willing to bet you would spend close to $15 gathering the parts piece by piece, and then have to make sure everything sizes up right)Does it look quite as professional as some of the other options? not really, but compared to those I'm saving about $100.Does it work? Exactly as it should. It hits boost and holds it there. Thats all I really ask. And it has been doing this for a solid two years in a daily driver running originally at ~19 psi, now at ~22 psi.My only complaint is that the adjustability is super sensitive. On my unit to up 5 psi, I'm turning the adjustment know about a quarter turn.The second unit I'm buying is going in to another car, the first unit is still in use.

Only giving 3 stars because it needs a better spring inside. It tends to expand and not hold pressure right other wise pretty good design

This is a brass tee, two NPT to barb fittings, a stainless cap screw with a jam nut, a spring, and a ball like what would be used in a bearing, with a hole drilled for the waste boost. I could easily make this myself, but why? I could NOT source the parts locally to make this myself for less than the price they ask. If you don't know how to set a manual boost controller, the instructions are super easy to follow, if English is your first language. I've only had this in my truck for two weeks, so I cannot comment on the durability. If durability is a concern, I will edit this review.
