Very disappointed, after less than a year the float switch stopped kicking on when the water slowly fills from a shower. A slight tape will start the pump.

Great bilge pump! I've been living aboard my 39 silverton MY for 8 years and this shower bilge has been going strong until about a year ago when the bilge for it went out, so in a pinch I bought the Atwood comparable bilge that fits directly in this box. It clogged on a weekly basis, this "cheap" unit would go 2 months before it needed to be cleaned out. So this one i bought for my forward shower. Great sump, great value, you won't be disappointed
