This is a very simple easy way to clean fuel injectors to get back that nice fine atomized symmetrical spray pattern. Just get a can of carburetor cleaner, plug up the cleaner to 12 volts and set the mode for your type of injector and in a few seconds the injector is working great. Everything that you need to clean two injectors at a time.

This was a helpful tool to compare each injectors performance. You can test each injector the same amount of pulses and time and check the volume of fuel for each injector. It's fairly easy to use even without the manual. I do wish is was possible to turn off the beep. The beeper on mine was failing and emitting a terrible changing tone which was just annoying. For the quality of this tool, if it's priced under $40 it's a decent value for the money.

This tester worked very well. Extremely simple to hook up. Price is very reasonable. Welcomed addition to my garage. No brainer if you have fuel injected vehicles that you have to diagnose for issues or just to ensure everything is working as it should.

I remember the days when you had to send injectors out to a shop to be put in a machine for cleaning and flowing. Granted for motorsport situations that's probably still a good idea so you can be sure your injectors are matched for flow rate. BUT, for the rest of us!...This is the best thing since sliced bread!I used to do the ghetto version and use a power supply to open the injector, spray the neck with carb cleaner and blow it out with the compressor. It kinda worked but was a PITA more than anything.This unit - if you didn't know - lets you plug the injector in, open it and has an snug fitting adapter for the top so you can spray a sealed off can of carb cleaner through the injector and clear it out. Super easy to use, very functional. This unit in particular has decent build quality and for the money you couldn't find a better value. It would cost you more than the price of this unit just to send out a few injectors to be cleaned.I don't think I would use this in a shop all day every day. But for the casual mechanic and home gamer it's great. Maybe I'm wrong, and it would live a long life in a pro setting but who knows for sure these days.

This is a nice fuel injector tester. It allows you to choose between 12 V and 5 V models so choose wisely so you don’t burn out your 5V injector with a 12V pulse. Anyways, what you do as you turn on the fuel pump while you have a fuel pressure gauge attached. You pressurize the system to unknown value, and then you run the injector through a series of pulses and watch the pressure go down. You test all injectors in the engine, the same way. If you have a clogged injector, then it won’t drop the pressure like the other injectors will. If you have a leaky injector, it won’t hold the pressure (but this item won’t tell you if you have a leaking injector because you don’t know which one is leaking). You can probably test direct injection fuel injector similarly, but I am not sure how to do that because most direct injection systems need to have the engine running to build fuel pressure on the fuel rail. Perhaps someone smarter than me can chime in.

Arrives in a brown box as shown in the video.The device itself seems to be built decently. Good enough for what it will be doing.Before, I would use a 9V battery to pulse injectors. With this tool it will make the whole process extremely easy and less hassle. This set comes with everything you need to clean injectors or test.Some upgrades would be to also include an ac adapter instead of just the battery clamps. Or even have an option for batteries which would make this tool more convenient.For about $46 before 15% coupon, this is a good tool to avoid the pains of using whatever is around the house like a 9V battery.
