Note the connection between unit and the wiring for the USB looks like an iPhone connector whereas, the connector on for my 2013 Silverado is significantly different.There should be a check fit to your vehicle feature like with other items in the auto parts section.This is quite frustrating to receive the unit, pull the old item out and discover that it will not work.Not sure of the dependability of the item. It is very light weight, so I assume the durability is minimal.This is a tough process to replace a cigarette lighter with a USB power charger for you cell phone.

This board looks bad. I open this just to see what the Build Quality on the board was. I tested it with a meter. It does come out right. But the look of this board is so bad. I don't trust it. I'm NOT going to install this in my truck. If you have this plug open it and look at it. This is really bad. I do not recommend this at all.

Junk. Broke before it was fully installed. Looks like water damage to the board. Better off buying GM
