This item appears to be stout and well built. I'm hoping to get years of use, but am slightly worried about how long I'll actually get to use it. Either it got through quality control, or received the damage rattling around in the package, but as I opened it I noticed that the fork was already split and had a gap of about an 1/8" down by the " hilt" portion of the handles shape. It's unfortunate, and I'm hoping it's going to just be an aesthetic issue, but my guess is the split will continue. Youd think tools designed for logging would have a somewhat more rugged and durable construction.

Habe zwar ein Fellheber erhalten.... aber nicht mit Kunststoffgriff, wie auf dem Foto abgebildet, sondern einen mit Korkgriff! Über dessen Haltbarkeit ich noch kein Urteil abgeben kann!
