I used this to haul my friend and my wetsuits after a pool dive. It fit 2 full length 3mm neoprene suits, two swimsuits, and 2 pairs of neoprene boots. I didn't try to close it up all the way but it closed enough to contain them so they could be carried. It's waterproof and not a drip got in my car despite the drawstring not being fully pulled tight. I used it for transport of a very wet wetsuit but its purpose is to keep you from being sandy or gross when changing outdoors - I wanted to use it to change in the changing room since the concrete floors at pool changing rooms are often sort of nasty - but my friend had changed first and already dumped their suit in the bag before I got to it - but it would be good for that too! The size for standing in is good personal space.-EDITED TO ADD: I took this to Cozumel on a scuba trip, it *easily* fit 2 3mm full wetsuits, 2 rash guards, & 2 swim bottoms with no issues. The photo attached to this review is from that trip. I had to ride back to the hotel in a taxi and it didn't leak or cause any issues in the taxi. highly recommend.

I chose this over other similar products due to its claimed larger size. It’s actually the same or smaller than other comparable products.

I ordered the OCTO changing mat for use especially after paddle boarding to keep my feet, wetsuit and car neat and cleaner after being out on the water. The nice thing about this mat is that it's super compact and comes in it's own zip up bag.The mat is lightweight with two different textured surfaces so you can tell which side is UP/Down easily and it has strings that you pull to cinch it up if you(r)1. have a wetsuit or bathing suit(s), shoes or gear to transport home so your vehicle won't get wet or dirty/sandy2. sandy or dirty feet release on the mat not your vehicle, then you can rinse it off and dry the mat after rinsing at your destination. The only thing I'm going to add to it is a clip or a carabiner to keep the carry sac attached to the matNBD but my only concern is that the two might separate and well I'm just detailed like that so keeping them connected will work best for me (or I'll just stow the carry bag in a compartment of my sup back pack)Definitely recommended. The material reminds me of a seat cover I used to have for my car to protect from dog hairNylon on one side and a smoother plastic black surface to stand and change on is the UP side.Well made and will hopefully stand up to many uses. It's winter time so I only tried it out at home. Also it's easy to refold and repack into the carry sac (definitely a good thing)Recommended for anyone who needs to change outdoors and wants to keep their feet and gear from getting sand, grit or dirt on it!

Going to the beach with two kids guarantees that we will bring half of the beach sand home in the car’s floor mats. This product is an awesome solution for the inevitable beach mess by providing an ample waterproof area to change on, as well as a convenient cinch sack to transport all those wet, sandy articles home! I tested this changing pad/sack over the thanksgiving holiday at our annual beach camping trip and it was great to have a clean spot (about 30” diameter, give or take) to change out of my wetsuit and then simply pull the drawstrings and throw the bag over my shoulder for the walk back up to camp. The standing area of this sack feels sturdy enough to stand up to most surfaces. If I were to use this on volcanic reef areas, I would probably throw a towel under the sack before standing on it. The waterproof section of the sack is big enough to encapsulate an adult sized wetsuit before the breathable fabric starts, ensuring that your wetsuit won’t leak all over your car in transport. The sack does breathe, so it’s important to place it upright in your car to prevent water getting all over the place. Overall, this is a great piece of kit for any trip that involves water and sand/mud. This would be equally at home on a boating/rafting trip, mountain biking, mud run, etc.

OCTO Changing Mat - Surfing Accessory to Transport Your Wetsuit or Swim Gear Sand-Free - Durable Waterproof Surf Bag - Keeps Your Car Clean - Drawstring Dry-Bag for the Beach Lake PoolWe find this most useful in reverse - for putting ON a wetsuit in the parking lot. It's hot where we are, so we rarely bust out a wetsuit, and even if we do, it's a thin, short one. But putting your legs through a wetsuit in the sand sucks cause the sand gets inside. Now you can step into clothes without the floor being all over it. For going home, it's a nice spot to stand to take it off if the floor is rocky/sandy. I try to get my husband to brush his legs off of sand outside the mat, standing on one leg, then do the other to minimize the amount of sand IN the bag/mat and it seems to work pretty well. It's good for holding wet/dirty clothes of any kind, and I keep it in the car incase of a surprisingly muddy hike etc.
