I went to put it in the case today and the DDJ-1000 still needed 6 more inches of space. Little dissapointing :(

I do wonder why people gave this rate to this product, or maybe mine has this problem because it is so small for my DDJ-1000 and you need to push it hard every time you are using it to fit it inside it and then scaring to ruined the zipper pffffff , sadly I was sick in hospital when they delivered it otherwise I would return it right away, never trust Amazon offers (as case, accessories, etc....) after you're purchasing something

Got this for my boyfriend for Christmas. He’s been DJing for about 10-11 years downtown in clubs, requiring good protection for his equipment, and he loves it and highly recommends it. He says it’s much more durable than his previous case from the same brand.

It’s not the worst case. No pockets so that’s a negative but I cut mine in half and use it as a protective case under my controller. Reason being I dj on a bar and use a ddj 1000 so if something ends up spilling on the bar at least I have it protected under. Get a gator case. They have pockets.

hello , just got my case and it fits without any type of modification... they have since fixed the fitting issues other reviews listed... i was ready to adjust mine, but didn't need to! enjoy it as is! i have a ddj-1000srt perfect fit!

I think this was designed for another controller but made to work with this one. It is adequate and serves its purpose.

I definitely experienced what the other negative reviewers were saying. The foam corners were pretty sloppily put together (Velcro tape was super crooked). The case itself has rounded corners.. and the foam inserts are 90 degrees and do not flex/compress much making for a really tight, awkward fit after some struggle.I found that trimming off a little from the corners REALLY helped with the fit (see pictures). I can finally put it in and out without accidentally ripping off one or more of the corner pieces. There aren't many choices in this price range, any hard case will be much more. Has just enough room for all the cables that come with the DDJ-1000. Everything else with the case I'm pretty pleased with so far!

Box came all busted. The padding inside wasn't secured to the case. The Velcro was placed on the 4 padded corners wrong... I thought there was space to put at least the power adapter but nope... If I didn't need this for the next few gigs I'd return it with the quickness. One good thing is that it is a snug fit and easy to carry... You can probably put the controller on top of the case too if you needed a bit more height.
