So The distributor itself works fine till this day after 20,000 Miles . I am giving 4 star because if one day you decided to do tuneup and put a new distributor cap. The holes will not lineup . I tried 2 different brand distributor caps already. Just keep that in mind.

See people in comments and forums installing these and the jeep will not throttle up, backfires etc, all the instructions say tdc on compression stroke and timing tab at 0, if yours acts funny bring up tdc on compression stroke and at the timing tab set that at 4 to 6 btdc and your good. Found this out the hard way.

Installed in about 30 minutes, worked perfect! Quality is very good, just remember to take out the rotor lock before you install. Got rid of my mystery squeak that was hard to find.

the mounting tab actually broke on me whenever I tried to give it any type of torque.Took it apart and noticed that the cap looks like it was just a 3-d printed junk piece of plastic, and the metal the distributor was made from was a very low quality. I'd save your money and just go with a spectra or standard ignition if you could find it at the parts store. Buy once cry once.

Product working great, so far. Good value for the price. Make sure you read the instructions before install. FYI TDC is more like a 5:45 o’clock angle versus a 5 o’clock, I had to remove mine a couple of times to get it right. If you read the instructions to the T you will not have an issue.

Distributor was packed very carefully and arrived promptly. It is an excellent replacement for the original distributor on my 1998 Jeep Cherokee that has 222,000 miles when my vehicle suddenly stopped running while I was driving. Once I installed the new distributor, the vehicle started right up and runs better than it has in recent years. I'm very pleased with this item and installation instructions were included. I installed the new one myself.
