Replaced my 3g regulator because the brushes were just about gone . Worked great but couldn’t figure out why it wouldn’t charge -forgot to pull the brush retainer keeper wire , after that 14.5 v and 70amps at idle

I ordered this part to rebuild an alternator instead of having to buy one for $200 and it saved me a lot. And it was an exact matchup to what the factory would have come with different manufacturer but the same part
